Mission Statement
Our method of working involves a deep devotion to the characteristics and demands of each task, aiming at fresh and innovative solutions both in functional and aesthetic ways.

Extensive experience in residential architecture has taught us to aim for quality within reasonable economic and technical frames.

Sustainability and ecological aspects belong to our tools in making timeless architecture responsive to various needs and functions, and with a lifetime requiring minimal structural alterations.

Innovative designs and solutions are realized in competition entries, sharpened and perfected in practice.

The office has more than 50 merits in various architectural competitions.

Our projects have been published internationally and the office has received numerous awards. In 2004 Kirsti Sivén was granted the Finnish State Prize for Architecture.

In 2014 the office was invited to a Collarateral Event of Venice Architecture Biennale, "Time, Space & Existence" with an exhibition "Timeless Spaces for Human Existence"
